Discover Tandoori Guys

Tandoori Guys is the place to be if you’re craving bold, flavorful Indian cuisine in Broken Arrow, OK. Located at 2039 W Houston St, this cozy spot is a go-to for anyone looking for a delicious meal that combines authentic spices and top-notch ingredients. From the moment you step inside, the warm, inviting atmosphere sets the stage for a dining experience that feels like home. Whether you're a seasoned lover of Indian food or trying it for the first time, Tandoori Guys promises a meal that will keep you coming back for more.

One of the standout features of Tandoori Guys is their tandoori cooking technique. The restaurant specializes in dishes prepared in a traditional tandoor oven, which gives the food a distinct smoky flavor that sets it apart from other places in the area. Their Tandoori Chicken is particularly popular-marinated in a blend of yogurt and spices, it’s perfectly cooked and boasts a rich, aromatic flavor that you won’t find elsewhere. This dish alone is a great introduction to the menu, but there’s so much more to explore.

If you're looking for something with a bit of heat, the Vindaloo is a must-try. Made with tender pieces of meat or vegetables, this dish features a spicy, tangy sauce that will satisfy anyone with a love for bold flavors. For those who prefer something milder, the Butter Chicken offers a creamy, tomato-based sauce that's rich and comforting. It pairs wonderfully with the freshly made naan bread, which is soft, slightly charred, and perfect for scooping up all the delicious sauces.

Vegetarians are also in for a treat. Tandoori Guys offers a variety of meatless options that are just as satisfying. The Paneer Tikka, for example, features cubes of paneer (Indian cottage cheese) marinated in a flavorful blend of spices and cooked to perfection in the tandoor. It’s served with a side of chutney and is an excellent choice for those who want a flavorful, protein-packed vegetarian dish.

The restaurant’s attention to detail extends to its side dishes and accompaniments as well. The rice is fluffy and aromatic, with the perfect balance of spices to complement any dish you choose. Don’t miss the raita-this cooling yogurt-based side helps balance the heat of the spicier dishes and adds a refreshing element to your meal.

Tandoori Guys doesn't just focus on the food; the overall experience is one to remember. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to offer recommendations or accommodate special requests. The restaurant’s casual yet vibrant decor creates a welcoming atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for both casual dinners and special occasions.

  • Nice Indian ambience. Appetizers were good especially tandoori and panipuri water. Main courses were ok including veg options as well.

  • Great Indian food in the Tulsa area. I loved the ambience and the food. This place is a standout spot —absolutely no disappointments.

  • We grew up eating food from India. By fqr tjis is the best selection in Tulsa. A very expansive menu with many delights! All of the items we ordered were nostalgic. I was SO surprised to see idli on the lenu as my father use to make them often. The desserts as well looked delicious. Many varieties of Indian food. They also have a buffet and vegan spread on Thursdays My daughter had a health emergency while we were dining and staff was so caring and attentive. I even forgot to pay due to 911 and situation. Later I called to settle the bill and the manager said not to worry and to care for my daughter. Bathrooms are clean, could use a quick coat of paint. The lobby is spacious and decor in dining area is beautiful.

  • We stopped by here during our 4th July vacation. The buffet has lot of options. Appetizer section is really good. My kids really enjoyed all the items. Most of the food was mild spice, which we liked. Staff is welcoming.Just one suggestion if they can include drinks like lemonade etc in the buffet that would be good.

  • Made it over to Broken Arrow today and went to Tandoori Guys for some Indian food. Great food, nice homey atmosphere and really nice people. Inside the place is fairly dimly lit, but in a cool kinda way. Walls are covered with vibrant prints and the dining room is spacious and roomy. Even at 12:15 or so I was seated immediately by a welcoming, congenial gentleman I assumed is the manager or owner. First trip through the buffet line, saw me dishing up samples of Chicken Biryani, Tikka Masala, Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Karahi and Aloo BIndhi (a killer dish of potatoes, okra and tomatoes). FIrst off, the plates are a tad on the small side... which is fine, just wanted to get that out there so when I you see the "for my THIRD TRIP", you don't judge.... much. Everything on the first plate was awesome. The chicken Karahi was great, but kind of like crab legs... lots of work for little meat. Not sure how those are prepared, but the meat to bone ratio pretty small. Still, all was good. Second trip, I hit the stuff I didn't get the first time, which included the beef meatballs (Kofta, I think they were called), a couple pieces of tandoori chicken, a few of the veg Bondas (little dumpling balls), a little more Biryani, and some of another rice dish with fried vegetables in it, which was outstanding. Third trip (I warned you) was just for a little more Biryani and meatballs. Overall, there wasn't a single thing I didn't like. Some more than others, but all was good. The Biryani was an obvious favorite. The Tandoori chicken was still moist and tender, despite the buffet setting. The meatballs were another favorite.... those things were like little meaty balls of crack, I couldn't get enough. While I wouldn't consider the food overly spicy, I do think that someone with a mild palate might find it a little much. My nose was definitely active the entire meal, and my taste buds were dancing like crazy. The staff were out of this world friendly and the owner/manager kept my glass full at all times, which was appreciated. The tab ran to just over $17 before a gratuity, which I consider more than reasonable for what I had and how much I enjoyed it. While it's a fair bit off my beaten path, I expect to find myself in BA on Fridays for the conceivable future, so I plan on return trips often.

  • It has been almost two years since I have Indian food, usually I have to have Indian food once a week … and I do missed the flavors and spices. This is my first time at Tandoori guys and boy oh boy … I was in for a treat. The buffet was overwhelming… love the tomatoes soup, so flavorful! Love the chicken Biryanis and the Palak Paneer. But like I say … i wish they were ala cart and make to order … If you want to pig out… this buffet is it!
